About the Brighton Dental Implant Clinic in the UK

Dr Bruno Silva - Principle Dentist

Dr Silva graduated in 2000 from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. He has practiced in London and Brighton area. He completed postgraduate training with leading specialists in implant surgery and prosthodontics in London's West End and has attended several courses in United states and Europe. He is currently completing a Masters Degree in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at the prestigious Kings College, London. Dr Silva is a partner of the Dental Centre Group with branches in Portslade, Worthing, Crawley, Old Village Portslade and Hailsham. He also owns the Aguavida health and beauty group.

Dr Nuno Cintra, MSc - Oral Surgeon

Dr Cintra is originally from Portugal, where he also studied to gain a DDS in dentistry. He then attended the Eastman Dental Institute - University College of London to study for a Master of Science in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Specializing in oral implantology Dr Cintra performed surgery at The Malo Clinic in Lisbon from 1999 - 2009. Along with 13 years of exclusivity in oral surgery and implantology he has lectured various courses since 1999. Dr Cintra is also a fellow of the European Board of Oral Surgery from EFOSS.

Dr Ana Sousa Surwald - Dentist

Ana graduated in 2002 as a dentist from Instituto Superior Ciências da Saúde- Norte in Portugal. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Oral Rehabilitation and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics (2005) and a Doctorate in Biomechanics of the Maxilla (2009) from the University of Barcelona. She worked since 2006 in private and NHS practices in Sussex and Surrey. Ana’s main interest is prosthodontics rehabilitations, including implant prosthodontics.

Dr Rachil Stafylidou - Dentist

Dr Stafylidou graduated in 2001 from the Higher Medical University of Plovdiv, Faculty of Stomatology. She completed a postgraduate training in Dental Implants in Manchester and a postgraduate training in Aesthetic-Cosmetic Dentistry in the USA, as well as various other courses enhancing her skills. She has been working in the aesthetic-cosmetic sector in dentistry since 2001 both in Greece and the UK.

Rebecca Levine - Hygienist

Becky has worked in our practice since we opened in 2002. She has an indepth knowledge in treating gum disease. She is an invaluable member of our team and is always motivated in looking after our patients.

Ewa Ginter - Nurse

Ewa has been a nurse at the clinic since we opened , Ewa assists in dental implant surgery and restorative dentistry. Ewa also has obtained a masters degree in environmental engineering

Urszula Majcherska-Kosakowska - Nurse

Urszula has been with the practice since we opened and is studying to be a qualified nurse.

Hanna Badzinska - Nurse

Hanna has always wanted to work in the dental industry, she assists Dr Silva in implant surgery. In her spare time Hanna loves to cook Japanese cuisine.

Malgorzata Mieczkowska - Nurse

Malgorzata works as a nurse mainly in restorative dentistry. She also oversees the management of the central sterilisation room

Lisa Sutton - Dental Nurse

Originally from Brighton, Lisa studied her A levels in Psychology, PE and Human Biology and is a qualified fitness instructor, she has recently returned from a year travelling the world. Lisa works in central sterilisation

Jacek Ziolkowski - Senior Lab Technician

Jacek studied to be a dental technician at University before spending fourteen years perfecting his skills. He has been at the Brighton Implant Clinic since we opened and is in charge of our in-house dental laboratory.

Alexsandra Baum - Dental Technologist

Alexsandra came to the UK in 2003 and has worked as a Dental Technician since 2004. Alexsandra specialises in gold and ceramic restorations.

Justyna Schwarz - Lab Technician

Justyna graduated in 2005 in Poland with a degree in Dental Technology. She has two years previous experience as a Dental Technician, working on porcelain, crown design, dentures and bridges. Justyna worked for private dental practices in Poland and Germany before joining our team at Brighton Implant Clinic in December 2009.

Linda Edwards - Lab Technician

Linda has spent the last 18 years as a lab technician in her native Northamptonshire, she has lived in Hove for the past 12 months and been with the Brighton Implant Clinic since we opened April 2009.

She is also a qualified receptionist an can occasionally be found assisting Glyn and Sarah on the front desk.

Alexandria Da Silva - Hygiene technician

Alexandria is in charge of all matters of hygiene at the clinic and makes sure the place is kept spotless, originally from Brasil, Alexandria has been with the practice since we opened.

Glyn Johnson - Reception

Glyn has been working with Dr Silva for the past 9 years and heads up the front of house team at the Implant Clinic.

Sarah Sibley - Reception

Sarah joined the clinic in October 2009. She has a degree in Environmental Biology and is looking to train as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist this year.

Joanna Gorecka - Head of Admin

Joanna is Dr Silva's indispensable PA who heads up our account department and general day to day management of Dr Silva's business activities.

She has a masters degree in administration, Joanna has been Dr Silva's PA for the past nine months.

Emma Dace - Graphic Design & Admin

Emma graduated in 2006 in Graphic Design & Multimedia, She is originally from Brighton and worked as a Graphic Designer for 3 years before joining the practice in July 2009 to assist in the Design and Marketing of the company.
